These botanical prints are printed with special archival Giclee inks guaranteed for 75 years or more. This is different from prints pulled from my ink jet printer that will only last for 3-5 years when exposed to daylight. The prints are numbered in sequence from 1 to 100 and are signed by the artist in pencil in the lower margin of the print. This means that no more than 100 will ever be printed. The printed image fits inside an 11 x 14” window of the mat. Each print is matted with a double acid free mat. Each double mat is white and cream, has an outside dimension of 16 x 20” and is ready to be dropped into a standard frame. Standard sized frames are available at most big box stores or at art supply stores. The shipping cost is included in the price.

Snow Still Life #1, Washburn, March 2014 When I was selected as one of eight artists in the 2014 Wisconsin Community Supported Arts program, I created a series of photographs called "Still Lives in Moving Places." I photographed everyday objects—a glass vase, a pewter creamer, a white enamel pitcher—in places that included Meyers Beach, Copper Falls State Park, and my yard in Washburn deeply covered in snow. These still lifes occurred in places where water, wind, and light had been moving; and, in the making of these images, gratitude for natural beauty and love for the people associated with those objects moved through me.
