Why This Place?
Photographs and photo essays explore the natural beauty and strong community in the Chequamegon Bay area in northwestern Wisconsin. Catherine Lange interviewed 16 area residents, photographed them in their favorite places in nature, and created landscape photos. Photo essays share subjects’ stories and show them at home and at work.
